Introducing Kelechi Benwosely who is desirous of giving Okigwe North Federal constituency proactive representation

Okigwe North Federal constituency of Imo State is in dire need of effective, pragmatic and grassroots oriented representation going forward. Of a time many especially men have declined to bell the cat, here come a woman of honour who is poised of liberating the federal constituency from the shackles of under representation. Her name is Kelechi Benwosely whose record of immense achievements at such a age is commendable.

A dynamic multi-disciplinary professional with proven expertise in ICT innovation, law, journalism, cybercrime prevention, policy advisory, and humanitarian service, she currently serves as Technical Adviser on the National Smart AI-Powered WhatsApp Response Initiative under the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on ICTDevelopment & Digital Innovation (SAP-ICT), Federal Republic of Nigeria, and has played a strategic role with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) inproject monitoring, contractor supervision, and regional development initiatives.

Recognized for her leadership in decentralizing the National Cybercrime Centre Annexes across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, she blends government advisory work (Presidency & NDDC), international training, media communication, and humanitarian leadership.

Benwosely is currently pursuing an LLB in Law to further strengthen
her capacity to deliver legal-technical advisory in ICT, cybercrime, and governance.

From March 2018 to current, she serves as Chief Editor/ Presenter of The Raw Truth, Lagos where she conceptualizes news reporting flow, Supervising the Reportorial desk, Page Planning, Editing, Writing reports, Designed the Operational guidelines, developed editorial house style, and optimization of the production chain. Advising and contributing to the editorial outlook of the organization, Implementing the regional operational strategy and designed and coordinated programme implementation on editions of publication.

Dec. 2018 – March 2019, She served as a Member presidential campaign field worker, APC Presidential Campaign Office, Ikoyi Lagos. Worked on Outreach and Get-Out the Vote Mobilization efforts in Lekki/VGC.

Benwosely entry into the Okigwe political landscape with her enriched resumes and excellent family background give the people of the federal constituency hope that sooner than later the public leadership trajectory of the federal constituency as it concerns national Assembly representation will change for good. She comes into the fray with the full of the ordeals the constituents are facing, hoping that destiny will use her to rewrite the the political history of the federal constituency for good.
