Hon. Kelechi Nnoaham Sets Example in Aladinma Ward II, Residents Praise His Commitment to Service

Hon. Kelechi Nnoaham, the newly sworn-in Councilor of Aladinma Ward II, has wasted no time in delivering on his promises to the community, initiating key development projects even before federal allocations have been released to local government officials in Imo State. Using his own funds, he has commenced the installation of street lights throughout Aladinma Ward II, enhancing safety and improving living conditions for residents.

Rather than wait for federal funds to arrive before starting his projects, Hon. Nnoaham has taken the initiative to serve his community immediately. This proactive approach has earned him widespread praise from residents, who view his actions as a testament to his genuine commitment to their welfare.

“Aladinma Ward II is my home, and I am determined to make it the best in the state,” Nnoaham stated. “I am not in this position for financial gain—I am here to serve my people, even if it means using my own resources. Leadership is about action, not waiting.”

Residents have highlighted this as a stark contrast to some leaders who appear more focused on personal gains. “Hon. Nnoaham has shown he’s not in this for money, he is not waiting for allocations to start changing lives,” one resident remarked. “He’s already working for us, proving that he’s truly dedicated to the people.”

Reflecting on his emergence as the APC candidate, Hon. Nnoaham emphasized that the party primary, which led to his candidacy, was achieved through consensus—even though he was unopposed in Aladinma Ward II. “The party leadership made excellent choices, selecting individuals to represent their wards and LGAs in the footsteps of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, the Most Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, Onwa Oyoko,” he shared.

Nnoaham also expressed his gratitude for the continuous support and mentorship from key figures in his life, which have guided his approach to leadership. “The positive influence of my political mentors—Hon. Sir Mac Donald Kelechi Ebere, PhD, the APC State party chairman in Imo State, the Hon. Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Sir Chika Benson Abazu, my mother, Hon. Chief Mrs. Josephine Nnoaham, Madam So-So-So as well as non political actors such as Chief Sir Ifeanyi Ikejiaku Akusinachi 1 of Akokwa—has kept me focused,” he said. “Their guidance has instilled in me a commitment to leaving a lasting legacy in Aladinma Ward II.”

As federal allocations remain pending, Hon. Kelechi Nnoaham’s early actions have set a new standard for leadership in Aladinma Ward II and across the state. His dedication to serving his community, regardless of challenges, has made him a role model for other elected representatives in the state, showcasing what it means to be a true public servant.
