Former Big Brother Naija reality star Francisca Owumi has passed away following a brief illness. Owumi, who was the runner-up in the inaugural season of BBNaija in 2006, died on August 29, 2024.
Her family announced her death on social media, writing, “A daughter and sister. Make her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Francisca Owumi was known for her vibrant personality and impressive dance moves during her time on the show, where she competed alongside winner Katung Aduwak, Gideon Okeke, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Maureen Osuji, and others.
Following her appearance on BBNaija, Francisca briefly ventured into the Nigerian music scene, releasing singles such as “Diva” and “Gbadun You.”
