2Face Idibia’s Ex-Manager, Kaka Igbokwe, Confirms Singer Was Arrested in the UK
Former manager of Nigerian music icon, Innocent “2Face” Idibia, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the award-winning singer was indeed arrested in London following a heated altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
2Face had travelled to the UK with Natasha—who is also a member of the Edo State House of Assembly—for a concert tour. However, the singer failed to show up for a scheduled performance on October 2, 2025, fueling rumours that he had been detained abroad.
The speculation intensified after blogger Tosin Silverdam posted a video on TikTok on December 1, 2025, showing the singer in handcuffs.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session with Daddy Freeze on Thursday evening, Kaka Igbokwe, son of the late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe, confirmed that the rumours were true.
According to him, he was on the same flight with the couple and witnessed the incident firsthand.
Kaka explained that the confrontation began shortly after they arrived at the airport. Natasha reportedly became upset after feeling that 2Face had walked off with fans who escorted him into a shop, leaving her behind.
Realising she was no longer with him, 2Face quickly rushed back, but by then tensions had escalated. The disagreement drew attention from airport authorities, eventually leading to the singer’s arrest.
Kaka added that “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true,” a statement that has further fueled public interest in the unfolding situation.
